Our Programs

Bags of Hope - 

• The Bags of Hope Program operates during the school year providing weekend food for children in need at elementary schools.

• Students at middle schools are served by school counselors via a food closet that is stocked by Village of Hope.

• We presently serve over 100 children each week.

Christmas Extravaganza -

• Village of Hope provides Christmas Extravaganza annually to families in need in the Central Gwinnett cluster.

• Children receive invitations through school counselors and also include children and families that are Village of Hope clients.

• Each child receives books , socks , winter wear, and a Bible. Parents shop in "Toyland " where tables are set up with age appropriate toys for the parent to select.

Food Box Ministry - 

• The Food Box Ministry is a year round ministry that provides food to the homeless, and those in need without transportation.

• The boxes are delivered bi-weekly around Lawrenceville.

• We presently serve over 200 people monthly.

Summer Lunch -

• The Summer Lunch Program provides bag lunches to children during the summer.

• Bags are assembled and delivered weekly by volunteers during the summer to more than twelve neighborhoods in Lawrenceville.

• Approximately 400 lunches are prepared each week and include a variety of foods to last the week.

School Supply Drive 

• Village of Hope collects school supplies on a year round basis.

• School supplies are delivered in August and January to schools in the Central Gwinnett cluster schools.

• The counselors at each school determine the children who need supplies and backpacks
